Privacy Policy
Last updated: 21 July 2026
MatchCard is pre-launch. This policy covers exactly what happens today, on this waitlist page, not a future product we haven't built yet. When the full product launches, this page will be updated to cover it, and you'll be told plainly if anything material changes.
The short version: joining the waitlist collects your email address and nothing else. We don't sell it, share it with third parties for marketing, or use it to train any AI model. You can ask us to delete it at any time.
Who this policy is about
This policy applies to anyone who visits matchcard.co.uk or submits their email through the "Get early access" form. It's written for a UK audience and follows UK GDPR principles, but MatchCard is an early-stage, pre-launch product and this is not a substitute for formal legal advice if you need it for your own compliance review.
What we collect
When you join the early-access waitlist, we store:
- Your email address, exactly as you type it.
- A source tag ("landing page") so we know which part of the site the signup came from. It carries no personal information beyond that label.
That's the entire list. We don't collect your name, company, job title, phone number, or IP address through this form. We don't use tracking cookies, analytics pixels, or third-party ad scripts on this page.
Why we collect it
Solely to email you when your early-access cohort opens, and to understand roughly how many people are interested in MatchCard before launch. Nothing else.
Where it's stored
Waitlist emails are stored in a Supabase database. The connection between your browser and that database is configured so this page can only add a new signup, never read, list, or export the existing list back out through the website itself. Access to the underlying data is restricted to the people building MatchCard.
Who we share it with
Nobody. Your email is not sold, rented, or shared with third-party marketers, data brokers, or advertising networks. It is not used to train any AI model, ours or anyone else's.
The one exception is if we're legally required to disclose it, for example in response to a valid court order. That has never happened and we don't expect it to.
How long we keep it
Until early access opens and you've either joined or told us you're no longer interested, or until you ask us to delete it, whichever comes first.
Your rights
You can ask us at any time to:
- Tell you whether we hold your email and what it's linked to.
- Delete it from the waitlist entirely.
- Correct it, if you signed up with a typo.
Email hello@matchcard.co.uk and we'll action it within a reasonable time. There's no form to fill in or hoops to jump through.
Cookies
This page does not set any cookies of its own. Our hosting provider (Vercel) may set strictly necessary technical cookies required to serve the page securely; these aren't used for tracking or advertising.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes in a way that matters, we'll update the date at the top and, if the change is significant, we'll say so clearly rather than quietly editing it.
